Luis Payne joins Alchemistry Beauty with over twenty years of experience and expertise in color, cutting and styling. Luis discovered his passion for hair in the early 2000's. He embarked on his journey as an Educator five years into his career as a representative for notable hair care brands. Luis returned to school in 2008 to acquire his barbering credentials, expanding his knowledge and expertise in male grooming. He later began to contribute to the beauty industry as a Top Artist for Sebastian Professional.

He then relocated to New York as the Artistic Director for a prestigious salon and there he joined the Wella Color Expert Alumni community in 2014. Luis continued to educate and mentor his NY salon team in editorial shoots, theatrical productions, and NY fashion shows. In 2020 Luis found his way back to California as a leader, a mentor, and curl specialist. Luis has mentored and educated countless stylists inspiring thousands nationwide as a Signature Artist for The Wella Company.

Luis currently is accepting new clients and enjoys sharing his passion for hair with like-minded individuals. He splits his time between Los Angeles and his Homestead, Zen Orchard in the Central Valley.
